Our focus is property and business matters, particularly as they relate to elder law, estate planning, and probate. Mr. Warner has been in the forefront of these areas for decades, and his experience in these areas may be more varied and substantial than any other practicing attorney in northern Utah. We know wills, trusts, estate administration, elder law, property and business law. We know the business people and lawyers who will be across the table or across the courtroom from us.
If you want a law firm that tries to do everything for everyone you won’t find that here. If you want a law firm that will focus exclusively on your estate planning/estate administration and elder law problem, come see us.
Mr. Warner belongs to the Elder Law and Estate Planning sections of the Utah State Bar Association. He serves on the Legislative Committee of these two sections, where he and other committee members meet monthly between Utah State Legislative sessions to consider changes and additions to Utah State laws dealing with estate planning, elder law, probate, guardianships, and related matters. He is a member of the National Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and ElderCounsel, two of the leading national associations of estate planning and elder law attorneys.
Innovation and Technology
We were one of the pioneers in the use of computers in the legal profession in northern Utah. We have relied upon and continuously updated our computer systems since the 1980’s. As a member of ElderCounsel, we subscribe to their computerized document preparation software based upon HotDocs, the premier document preparation software in the world. But don’t take this wrong, we do not provide cookie cutter solutions. Each project that leaves our office is designed for your particular situation. Software can not do what we do. But software does assist us in being as efficient and effective as possible in dealing with infinite particular circumstances.
We understand that at the end of the day decisions are made by human beings, and that relationships matter. We know that our personal relationships with our clients are critical to understanding their goals and the potential obstacles to achieving them, and we invest in those relationships accordingly. Unlike other firms for whom insurance is a sideline, we are repeat players and have built strong, long-term relationships not only with our clients, but also with key insurance industry executives. These relationships provide our clients with a critical advantage in achieving their goals.
